Lingerie Company Lejaby Sold
French lingerie business Lejaby, previously owned by Warnaco, has been sold to Palmers Textile AG for approximately 32.5 million euros cash and an additional interest-free loan arrangement.
The CEO of Palmers, Thomas Weber, says they are are thrilled by the new acquisition of the Lejaby lingerie business and believe that by buying Lejaby, an iconic and well established brand, to their portfoloio will surely enhance Palmers future growth opportunities.
Lejaby lingerie was founded in 1930 and will continue to operate from its French Lyon headquarters. The business in the UK will in future be known as Palmers Lejaby UK Ltd.
