French lingerie business Lejaby, previously owned by Warnaco, has been sold to Palmers Textile AG for approximately 32.5 million euros cash and an additional interest-free loan arrangement.
The CEO of Palmers, Thomas Weber, says they are are thrilled by the new acquisition of the Lejaby lingerie business and believe that by buying Lejaby, an iconic and well established brand, to their portfoloio will surely enhance Palmers future growth opportunities.

How do you wash your lingerie? Have you noticed that after a while even the most expensive underwear fades, loses shape or loses a wire?

It’s no good investing in designer lingerie if you are not going to take care of it properly. Good quality underwear should not be thrown into the washing machine along with your normal clothes. The washing machine cycle is often too harsh for lingerie, distorting the padding, lace or under wiring. It is much better to wash your bras by hand in the sink and let them dry naturally - I hang mine to dry in the shower.

A team of Swedish high school students has won a national award for its invention — men’s underwear with pockets for condom storage.
The three young men — who founded the company Sooner Than Already There — were given the national Young Enterprise award at a ceremony in Stockholm.
The students said they have sold 350 pairs of the underwear, which they designed to help combat unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

OK ladies, admit it. You are slouched in front of your computer wearing that old cotton bra which should have been thrown out months ago. It has no doubt lost all its support and is a dubious shade of grey rather than dazzling white, as you chucked it in the washing machine with your dark jeans! I knew it! Although you may think that it is comfortable and easy to slip into a bra that is nearly half your age, it is not doing anything for your posture or figure, not to mention your self confidence!
